Title: Amplitude modulation of low-degree solar p-modes
Abstract: The appearance of the power spectrum obtained with one day of full-disk helioseismic data is strongly changing from day to day. This is a combined effect of the changing interferences between unresolved individual p-modes and the real amplitude modulation of these p-modes. The statistical distribution of the power inside one given peak has been studied as a function of the magnitude of the amplitude modulation. The result depends on the level of interdependence of the flutuations of amplitude displayed by different individual modes
