Title: VoIP Smart Speech Encoding Mechanism Using High-Performance Computing
Abstract: With the advent of telephony in digital communication, there has been an overwhelming demand for voice services in a digital network, specifically the packet-switched network. A good example of service that can handle voice services is Voice over the Internet Protocol (VoIP). The VoIP service is a well-known service over the decades but still has prevalent issues and limitations with respect to security and network overload. The real challenge is to deliver optimal multimedia services with growing usages of such application. There are emergent and burning issues of heterogeneity in the networks that make inefficient data communication. This makes it low scalable and robust in providing the services. In the proposed work, Forward Error Correction (FEC) algorithms are used for implementing a wire-to-wireless network test bench by considering speech prediction during VoIP communication. Also, the existing E-model is enhanced to find the quality of VoIP in heterogeneous networks which are envisioned network design features.
