The nanocomposite particles of polypyrrole/polyaniline and silica represent potentially useful processable forms of polypyrrole/polyaniline, normally intractable conducting polymers. Transmission electron microscopy studies suggest that the polypyrrole/polyaniline‐silica nanocomposite particles are made up of microaggregates of the original small silica particles. We demonstrated that the polypyrrole/polyaniline‐ silica nanocomposite particles can be utilized as display elements for electrophoretic display due to their high colloid stabilities.Read More
