Title: Comprehensive Evaluation on Level of Agricultural Modernization in Sichuan Province
Abstract: Agricultural modernization is a long-term process, in order to promote Sichuan agricultural modernization continue to move to a higher level, to keep a quantitative monitoring and overall evaluation on Sichuan agricultural modernization development is very important for southwest China and other areas of West China. This article revolves around agricultural inputs, agricultural outputs, rural community development and sustainable development and 12 individual indicators to establish Sichuan agricultural modernization development evaluation index system, and uses multiple index comprehensive evaluation model to study it. The result shows that, in the year 2011, Sichuan agricultural modernization has transferred from the initial modernization stage steadily into the initial implementation phase, the integrated agricultural modernization level has reached 0.583, and the average growth rate was 6.16% during the year 2000 to the year 2011. Among the 5 regions, the integrated agricultural modernization level of Chengdu plain area rank the first, the evaluation level was 0.679; and Panxi mountain area comes the second, the evaluation level was 0.600; the hilly area of South Sichuan and Northeast Sichuan followed up, their evaluation level respectively were 0.583 and 0.569; Northwest Sichuan has the lowest evaluation level, which was 0.352.
