Title: Clinical implication of exposure of recurrent laryngeal nerve in thyroid operation
Abstract: Objective To analyze the application of exposure of anatomy of recurrent laryngeal nerve in thyroid operation, and provide reference for the clinical treatment. Methods A total of 300 patients with thyroid operation were selected as the study objects and they were randomly divided into the surgical anatomy of the recurrent laryngeal nerve group(observation group,n=178) and surgery for recurrent laryngeal nerve group(control group,n=122).The neural injury rate, time of hospitalization, and complications of the two groups were observed.ResultsThe injury rate of the observation group was 2.81%,which was significantly lower than that of the control group(20 cases,16.39%).The differences of the two groups were statistically significant(χ2=3.979,P0.05).The permanent nerve injury rates of the two groups showed no significant difference(P0.05).The temporary nerve injury rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P0.05).Patients in the two groups showed no significant difference in wound healing time, mean hospital stay and wound infection rate(P0.05).Conclusion Thyroid operation of recurrent laryngeal nerve can reduce the injury of nerve in operation, and does not increase the incidence of adverse reaction. It has low operation risks, and thus it is worthy of clinical application.
