Title: Deriving Poynting Theorem – A Student-Friendly Approach
Abstract: In this brief article, the authors have attempted to present a student-friendly derivation of Poynting Theorem, which is one of the important theorems introduced in the curriculum of Electro-Magnetic theory. Authors hope that the intuitive approach in the derivation would address typical queries encountered by many students when introduced to the Poynting Theorem.
