Abstract: Work-life balance is a broad concept including proper prioritizing between career and ambition on one hand, compared with pleasure, leisure, family and spiritual development on the other. As the separation between work and home life has diminished, this concept has become more relevant than ever before. For many employees today both men and women—their lives are becoming more consumed with a host of family and other personal responsibilities and interests. Employers can offer a range of different programs and initiatives, such as flexible working arrangements in the form of part time, casual and telecommuting work. More proactive employers can provide compulsory leave, strict maximum hours and foster an environment that encourages employees not to continue working after hours. The study was conducted with an objective of studying the level of Work-life Balance at Hydraulics Company in Andhra Pradesh and also to find out reasons that may be dissatisfying the employees on their jobs. Primary Data is used for the purpose of the study. Primary data was gathered through Questionnaires and Interviews with the HR Executive officers. A Sample of 40 employees was taken, various dimensions are considered for the study. Conclusion- From this study a high level of Work life balance can be attained in the organization if the organization stresses on factors that are causing work life imbalance and that regular meetings with employees with feedbacks should be carried out for higher job achievement and contentment. The given suggestions can be used as they can bring about major changes in the lives of the employees and can be of great help to the organization.
