Title: The role of the student practices in the process of education of medical students
Abstract: The aim of the Student Practices organized by the Ministry of Education and Science is to help improving the quality of education by providing opportunities for acquiring practical experience of the students in their higher education in accordance with the needs of the labor market. Facilitate the transition of students from education to the workplace and increase the successful realization of young people in the labor market. Practical training is a practice that is consistent with the student’s specialty or professional field in a real work environment to perform tasks assigned by the training organization according to a pre-established program. The practical training on the project differs from the one envisaged in the curriculum for the relevant specialty and the educational-qualification degree. Training is conducted individually with the assistance of an employee of the training organization mentor and under the supervision an academic tutor. During these practices, students learn useful techniques for their future work and acquire direct practical skills. We interviewed about 100 medical students with whom we are in contact with a set of questions about how their practice helps them to live in future. Our investigation has shown that the student practice facilitates students to find a post-graduated realization.
