Title: Nonlinear Optical Spectroscopy: Temporally Resolving Synchronous Degenerate and Nondegenerate Two‐Photon Absorption in 2D Semiconducting Monolayers (Laser Photonics Rev. 13(2)/2019)
Abstract: In article number 1800225, Qiannan Cui, Chunxiang Xu, and co-workers describe a femtosecond laser pump-probe technique that can temporally resolve co-existing degenerate and nondegenerate two-photon absorption (TPA) processes in an atomically thin 2D semiconducting monolayer (“white-blue-white” sandwiched structure on the cover). The results are promising toward a sensitive measurement of TPA coefficients and actively controlling nonlinear exciton dynamics in semiconducting monolayers.
