Title: Probabilistic river flood modelling and mapping
Abstract: The thesis compares the results obtained using different types of flood modelling tools, in order to reduce the calculation time and to minimize flood damages during extreme events. After the comparison between the results of the detailed hydrodynamic model implemented in the Mike11 software and the ones of the conceptual model, the latter is used to perform uncertainty propagation. Finally, probabilistic flood maps are produced.
