Title: Power Quality Compensation In Microgrid Using MFGTI
Abstract: Microgrid otherwise distributed electrical power plant, whichconsists of different energy inputs, integrated using renewable energy source (RES)based distribution generators (DG), which is on power electronics basedprototypes, so power quality issues in distribution sector are seriously increasing. If it is controlled properly, DG inverters used for mitigating power quality problems like harmonics, compensation for reactive power and unbalancing of the power distribution system. This type of inverter is called as multifunctional grid tied inverter (MFGTI). With thelatest developments in this micro grid technology, power quality can be enhancement using flexiblecontrol of MFGTI and also it can eliminates the usage of additional compensating devicesand results in a cost effective system. The Simulation performances done using MATLAB.
