Title: Relationship between the organizational structure and culture: Case studies of the mining companies in Serbia
Abstract: Organizational culture and organizational structure have a correlated inter-relationship. Structure determines the behaviors, attitudes, dispositions and ethics that create the work culture. In this paper, the authors analyze the inter-relationship between the organizational structure and culture in the mining companies in Eastern Serbia. Investigation was conducted in two companies, with 138 participants in the survey. The research was conducted at the beginning of 2016. The questionnaires included 50 questions concerning the organizational structure and culture, and were anonymous. The results confirmed a significant correlation between the organizational structure and culture in the investigated organizations.
