Abstract: As for several NDA SNR estimation algorithm for QPSK signal, their SNR estimation performance is poor. This article puts forward an improved low complexity SNR estimation algorithm to improve the SNR estimation range and accuracy. The mean, bias and variance of the new algorithm are simulated. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has smaller estimation bias and estimated mean square error in the SNR range between -10~30dB, and its estimation performance is obviously superior to other already existing algorithms.
