Title: NILAI Optical Density (OD) SERUM MENCIT YANG DIIMUNISASI HOMOGENAT CACING (Toxocara spp., Ancylostoma spp. dan Dipylidium caninum) TERHADAP PROTEIN 45 kDa L2J Toxocara canis
Abstract: The aim of this study is to know Optical Density (OD) value of the serum of mice immunized with worms homogenate. This study used thirty-five male mices (Mus musculus) then they were divided into five groups. They were immunized with worms homogenate (Toxocara spp., Ancylostoma spp., and Dipylidium caninum). P0 (control) was not inoculated with worms homogenate, P1 was inoculated with homogenate of Dipylidium caninum, P2 was inoculated with homogenate of Ancylostoma spp., P3 was inoculated with homogenate of Toxocara canis, and P4 was inoculated with homogenate of Toxocara cati. Serum of mice was taken after two weeks immunized. Optical Density (OD) value was measured by using indirect-ELISA. This result of study showed that be obtained OD value the serum of mice immunization various worms homogenate toward protein 45 kDa L2J produced highest OD values are the serum of mice immunized with homogenate of Toxocara spp (Toxocara canis and Toxocara cati). The result of indirect-ELISA was analyzed using Anova test with SPSS rel 13.0 for windows and HSD 5%. The results showed that serum of mice that was immunized with homogenate of Toxocara spp. was significantly different between treatment group and control group (p<0.05).
