Abstract: FRANCISCO SUSINOS 2Sólo nos queda pedir al lector un esfuerzo mental para entrar en un sistema filosófico inédito pese a Ia dificultad que encierra Ia intelección de unas categorías de pensamiento y de expresión que no nos eran familiares.Son categorías nuevas y, por Io mismo, sólo parcialmente reducibles al esquema mental de Ia filosofía tradicional.En Ia primera parte de Proceso y Realidad, dedica Whitehead los dos ult:mos capítulos al bosquejo de las nociones primarias, que están a Ia base de Ia Filosofía del Organismo.Corresponde al segundo momento del método filosófico: momento de Ia construcción äe generalidades.El resto de Ia obra Io dedicará Whitehead a mostrar que este sistema categorial «expresa concretamente nociones inevitablemente presupuestas en nuestra experiencia reflexiva -presupuestas, aunque rara vez expresadas con distinción explícita» -.Es decir, en el resto de Ia obra procura Ia verificación del sistema -tercer momento del método-apelando a los datos primarios de nuestra experiencia, a las exigencias de Ia ciencia físicobiológica actual y al testimonio de todos los filósofos anteriores y de las diversas formas de cultura.El esquema categorial de Ia Filosofía del Organismo, reúne: l.° La «categoría de Io último», o «principio de creatividad».2. 0 Ocho «categorías de existencia».3."
