Title: Micellization, Antimicrobial Activity and Curcumin Solubilization in Gemini Surfactants: Influence of Spacer and Non-Polar Tail
Abstract: An illustrative micellization leading to the effective antimicrobial action and optimized drug solubilization in GS • GS with varying spacer and alkyl chain length have been synthesised. • Its surface activity and bulk properties were confirmed by tensiometry method. • Influence of GS micellization on antimicrobial activity for selected microbes and drug solubility was investigated. • Hydrophobic interaction of GS was well-complimented with simulation results.
