Title: Mo1094 THE UTILITY OF ENDOSCOPIC OVERSTITCH FOR THE PREVENTION OF STENT MIGRATION IN THE UPPER GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT
Abstract: Endoscopic placement of fully covered self-expandable metal stents (FCSEMS) is commonly used for treatment of benign and malignant conditions such as strictures, leaks or perforations. Stents migration has been reported to exceed 50%. Endoscopic overstitch is a new device mounted over the tip of the double channel endoscope and is used for suture fixation of to prevent migration. The aim of this study is to determine if this technique reduce stent migration in the upper gastrointestinal tract with different indications.
