Title: Comparative study of homomorphic encryption methods for secured data operations in cloud computing
Abstract: Cloud computing is a future generation Information Technology architectural model. Even though the technology has innumerous advantages in technology and business perspective, security of data stored is a matter of concern for all the stake holders of the architecture. Providing security to the data involves network security, strategies of control and access to the service, storage of data. Inspite of the service providers' effort to ensure trust among the clients for the security of data, there is lack of enthusiasm among the users to use the technology to its fullest capability. Homomorphic encryption is a way of providing security to the data in which operations can be done on encrypted data itself. In this paper, we present an analysis report of the homomorphic encryption methods in terms of security provided to data and their usefulness in cloud computing.
