In our study we introduced super worms to temperatures at room temperature, 3 degrees above room temperature, and six degrees above room temperature. We then measured their CO2 production in a small respiration chamber. Our results showed us that super worms’ metabolic rate is at its highest at 3 degrees above room temperature. We concluded that super worms’ metabolic rate is more closely related to medium temperatures instead of higher temperatures.Read More
