Title: Investigation on DC-AC converter with reduced device count
Abstract: Cascaded DC-AC multilevel converters incorporate a medium output voltage in view of an arrangement association of power switches which utilize low-voltage segment arrangements. This trademark permits one to accomplish amazing output voltages at the output and currents at the input and furthermore extraordinary accessibility due to their inborn part excess. Because of these elements, the cascaded DC-AC multilevel converter has perceived as a great option in the medium and high voltage converter showcase. In the present paper, a novel DC-AC multilevel inverter is proposed with less count of power electronic switches and power sources. Therefore, the overall economy and complication of the converter is decreased. To determine the voltage magnitudes a new algorithm is developed. Later comparison have been done between proposed topology and existing topologies. MATLAB/Simulink is used for simulating the circuit for performance verification. Finally, to validate the developed topology hardware model is developed.
