Six species included in the Red Data Book of European Bryophytes (e.g. Lophozia ascendens, Brachydontium trichodes, Buxbaumia viridis, Paraleucobryum sauteri, Pseudoleskea saviana, Rhynchostegiella teneriffae) were also recorded. Furthermore, 34 taxa (9 liverworts and 25 mosses) are regarded as rare in Southeast Europe.
