We sometimes assert that the closed type public space facilitates private use more than the open type. But, the results of five surveys on the private commodities in 53 alley-spaces reject this hypothesis. These suggest that habitants in the open type alley-space use public space privately for making their tight community space and their behavior do not block the passage in public alley-space.Read More
