Title: Recent Austrian practice in the field of European Union law
Abstract: The seventh report by the European Law Department of the Legal Service of the Austrian Foreign Ministry (‘Office of the Legal Adviser’, ‘Völkerrechtsbüro’), which was written under the guidance of Ges. Mag. Tünde Fülöp, covers some of the main developments in European Union Law during 2017. The issues covered include legal questions concerning the EU Energy Market (Schneider/Waibel), recent judgements of the Court of Justice concerning Western Sahara, the Post-Cotonou negotiations (Fuith), the adoption of international non-binding instruments in the area of migration (Prummer) and the Rule of Law in the EU (Wimberger). We wish to particularly thank the Head of the Legal Service, Univ.-Prof. Bot. Dr. Helmut Tichy and the Head of our Department, Univ.-Prof. Ges. Mag. Dr. Andreas J.
