It presents predominantly with neurological and extra neurological symptoms. Neurocysticercosis is involvement of the central nervous system by the encysted larval stage, ‘cysticercus cellulosae’ of the pork tapeworm Taenia solium. Neurocysticercosis is widely prevalent in the tropic. It is one of the commonest causes of adult onset seizure in tropics. In this report we discuss two cases of disseminated cysticercosis and the current concepts in the imaging and management of disseminated cysticercosis.Read More
