Title: Performance analysis of cadmium sulfide/cadmium telluride (CdS/CdTe)thin film solar cell using PC1D
Abstract: Thin film solar cell using CdTe/CdS material requires optimum utilization of parameters to make it high efficient. Dependency of the short-circuit current, open-circuit voltage, fill factor and efficiency of CdTe/CdS solar cell on the thickness of the absorber layer and carrier lifetime are investigated and to improve the cell efficiency, optimization of these parameters has been performed. It has been observed that the power conversion efficiency and fill-factor strongly depends on the thickness CdTe and electron or hole lifetime.
