Title: La sensibilidad estética siciliana en la ciudad de Sevilla a finales del siglo XVII: el origen de la devoción a Santa Rosalía = Sicilian Aesthetic Sensibility in the City Seville at the End of the 17th Century: Introduction of the Devotion to Santa Rosal
Abstract: After archbishop Ambosio Spínola y Guzmán´s death in 1684, Jaime de Palafox y Cardona, still head of the church in Palermo, succeeded him as the máximum authority in Seville´s clergy. Not only did the prelate want to introduce Seville´s parishioners to the Sicilian dovition to Saint Rosalie, but he also was interested in showing the aesthetic sensitivity, which he received in Sicily to the new city.
