Title: Political Discourse Analysis: From Field Theory to Sociology of Worth
Abstract: This article sets out to assess three main sociological perspectives with respect to political discourse. The first, a structural one, is focused on the concept of political field. The author makes a census of its founding illusios and points out that political discourse as a genre is a mere variation of these illusios. The second focuses on the power struggle within the political field which necessarily means a likewise interest in the actors’strategies. Consequently, a link is established between social positions and their corresponding discourses. The third perspective shows how in recent years some alternative ways of grandeur have had a number of conclusive implementations in the political field.
