Title: 3225 Effects of Ambient Pressure on Spray Characteristics of High-Dispersion Atomization Enhancement Nozzle
Abstract: The purpose of this study is ID develop a high-efficiency atomization enhancement nozzle, which is able to obtain the spray with high-dispersion and high-penetration. In this paper, the effects of geometric shapes and measurements of the atomization enhancement nozzle on the spray characteristics were studied. Moreover, in order to apply an actual injector, the effects of the ambient pressures on atomization of the spray were studied. As the results, the spray, which spread of the spray is wide, the breakup length is short and the Sauter mean diameter is small, was obtained, and the spray characteristics were improved. Moreover, the excellent spray was obtained under the high-ambient pressure of 1.6MPa at room temperature.
