Abstract: ABSTRACT: This article presents a study related to intertextuality in Dracula (1897) written by Bram Stoker. Through this paper, it is presents theoretical discussions about intertextuality and allusion in the context of literature studies and translation. To do this, it is exemplified the intertextuality and allusion connected with death, through excerpts taken from the book Dracula originally written in English with its translation in Portuguese, linking them with Biblical quotations that deal with the same subject, as an attempt to bring together practical work and theoretical reflection.KEYWORDS: Translation; intertextuality; Bram Stoker.
