Title: OVERVIEW OF ARIZONA JUVENILE JUSTICE SYSTEM
Abstract: In the paper, the structures and reactions of the United States’ juvenile justice system and in particular the Arizona juvenile justice system are covered. The discussion is taking place within the general knowledge that federal and state juvenile justice systems are required to balance public safety with the best interests of the child in their efforts to curtail juvenile delinquency and recidivism. Thus this document captures some of the important structures, functions and roles of the United States’ juvenile justice system in general and in specific terms, the Arizona juvenile justice responses to delinquency, recidivism and their consequential public safety concerns.
