Title: Decrease of mercury in the diluted mercury(II) solutions
Abstract: It was found that the count of diluted mercuric-203 chloride solution was slowly decreased after it was alkalified with sodium hydroxide. This decrease was avoided by the addition of such oxidant as potassium permanganate or sodium hypochlorite, but was not by the addition of chloride ion.
