Title: Methodology of Situational Control Creation and its Application
Abstract: The basic problem in the control and diagnostic of complex systems is the solution of discrepancy between a large number of possible operational situations and a limited number of usable control strategies. This problem can be solved in such a way that the operational situations are grouped into a limited number of classes to which in advance are assigned some algorithms (control strategies, functions of control modes). The number of pattern situations created in this way (situational classes, emergency degrees of the operation) is limited, usually also by the human ability (of an operator, production manager) to distinguish situations under the conditions of multi-criterion judgement. The paper presented aims to elucidate the procedure of the concept creation of the situational control of complexes, to demonstrate briefly the open and complicated nature of individual steps of this procedure (the choice of criteria of situational classification, the creation of pattern classes of situations, processing of uncertain linguistic variables, type of the structure model and functions of the complex, etc.), as well as to present the application of the methodology in the conditions of an automated technological workplace for planary shaping.
