Title: Guiding students through the research-based learning in nature study instruction
Abstract: The paper presents a model of research-based learning of nature study and especially the system of instructions for students that can ensure the successful implementation of this model. Research-based nature study instruction (which includes the contents of nature study from first to fourth grade of elementary school) is rarely present in our teaching practice. According to previous research and experience of the author, the apparatus which includes the management of teaching situations that characterize this instruction are insufficiently developed. Next to presentation of the research-based learning concept in nature study instruction, the author emphasizes the key points in elaboration of models that are seen as 'apparatus' for effective application in practice.
