Title: Elastodynamic Radiation from an Impulsive Point Source in a Poroelastic Fluid/Solid Medium
Abstract: Elastodynamic radiation from an impulsive point source in an unbounded, homogeneous, isotropic, poroelastic fluid/solid medium is investigated with the aid of a temporal Laplace and spatial Fourier transforms. To describe the macroscopic propagation of linear acoustic waves through a fluid-saturated porous solid we use four coupled partial differential equations that follow upon applying a volume averaging procedure to the two constituents of the porous medium, viz. a perfectly elastic solid and an ideal fluid.
