Title: Dynamical Response of a Flexible Arm on a Space Platform
Abstract: In general, space structures such as a space station or space manipulators are highly flexible. During missions, vibration easily occurs in those structures and it continue for a while. In space systems, vibration influences to the attitude control system of a space platform, experimental equipment, and astronaut's life environment. This paper describes a manipulator which docks to the space station with several attitudes, and considers influence of vibration in a manipulator and a space platform by simulations when the manipulator docks a payload to the space platform with several configurations.
