Title: Tu1004 Higher Quality Colonoscopy Is Associated With Significantly Greater Time Spent on Polypectomy
Abstract: Effective colonoscopy requires both the detection and removal of polyps. Increasing colonoscopy withdrawal time is associated with increased polyp detection. Thus, it is likely that endoscopists with longer inspection times spend an increased amount of time on polypectomy, further impacting the length of the procedure. The primary aim of this study is to determine the relationship between neoplastic (adenoma and/or serrated) polyp detection rate (NDR) and mean polypectomy time.
