Abstract: Spiritual beliefs are typically related spiritual values. For example, the identity of a person or group is shaped by spiritual values, beliefs, and affiliation. Spiritual values come from a common spiritual foundation, they are indivisible whole. Values cannot exist apart from the others. Spiritual values are often passed on future generations. There are many reasons as why people are drawn a religious or spiritual way of life. Many people develop spiritual values from the guidance and teachings of sacred books, thinkers and prophets.Spiritual values have eternal qualities, arising from deep-seated inner connectedness the divine of spiritual dimension of human experience. Spiritual values imply that they are something that human beings need cultivate. We are well aware that most people judge human nature in terms of values. However, we know that we are spiritual beings first and foremost and that to be human is be spiritual. Spiritual values are inherent in our nature.Recognizing that spirituality is a dimension which is beyond religion is indicated in the works of Mas low who states:I want demonstrate that spiritual values have a naturalistic meaning, that they are not the exclusive possession of organized churches, that they do not need supernatural concepts validate them ... therefore they are the general responsibility of all mankind. (Maslow, 1970,p.33)We emphasize two principles:* The spiritual values or human values do not need be taught; rather, they must be caught or learned.* The spiritual values should represent humanity.The spiritual values can be understood from at least two perspectives:* The spiritual essence is based on the principle that spirituality resides in all human beings. The spiritual essence of the values is inherent within us.* An individual's values, which reflect the attitudes and motivations, develop his unique personality and behaviour. An individual learns, develops and practices values throughout his lifetime in the family, social and organizational environments where he lives and works.Spiritual values of the employees are the fundamental roots of a healthy and vibrant organization. By exploring the employees' spiritual values, the integrated wholeness can bring forth tremendous strength in the work life.What do spiritual values manifest when expressed in the Employees' workplace?* A clerical person would do his or her best quality of work, even if no one is watching.* A teacher would continually strive find creative new ways deliver lecture, conduct research, and maintain discipline of students in the classroom.* A manager would seek keep the environment clean and unpolluted by wastes from the business.Researchers increasingly recognise that values help us motivate in our work and give us a feeling of satisfaction. As a result, organization now focuses on the development of values among employees in order develop their interests in work and intellectual abilities. In a career context, values might include job security and satisfaction, a regular income and a fixed pattem of work, and autonomy.Knowing what spiritual values will help the personnel enhance their job performance and continue do job that they find meaningful. Spiritual values pull employees in different directions. An employee's spiritual values work may be affected by such factors as socioeconomic status, gender, ethnicity, cultural context, and the more likely he finds his career choice satisfying. As the career goes on, the satisfaction or dissatisfaction with the job an employee feel may help evaluate himself, including his values.An employee's values can determine how and where lie applies his skills.
