Abstract: This is an interview with an Armenian living in Egypt. It's about the Armenian political interference in Egypt that shaped the egyptian history. Also the Cultural and Artistic heritage.
Armenians were in Egypt since the Fatimid Era, and their number increased during the Ottoman Empire when Mohamed Ali brought them for high political positions. Then came as refugees escaping the Armenian Genocide at 1915.
Yet, their number diminished dramatically after the nationalization by President Gamal Abdel Nasser.
