Title: An investigation of Marconi's transmitter during the 1901 transatlantic experiment
Abstract: In this paper the transmitter used by Marconi during the first transatlantic experiment has been investigated. The idea behind studying the transmitter is to find the frequency of transmission. Here the transmitter circuit has been simulated to find the output frequency of the circuit. Marconi had reported during his experiment that he used signals of long wavelength i.e. 1800 m [3]. Based on the data available the simulation result shows that the transmitter was generating much shorter waves than was reported during that time.
