Lamenting loss of meaning in postmodernity boils down to mourning the fact that knowledge is no longer principally narrative. Majority of visual narrative media puts user in the role of passive consumer, while traditional storytelling was by its nature interactive. Digital mediums offer new kinds of possibilities. The most important element of the new medium adds to our repertoire of representational powers in its procedural nature, its ability to capture experience as systems of interrelated actions ; and its ability to include modern scientific concepts through universal model. We are now engaged in establishing the building blocks of that interactive medium.Read More
