A total of six frames are tested with different damper arrangement and loading speeds. Differences of the stiffness, damping properties and story drifts between stories with and without the damper are discussed. It is found that the rotation at the center of beam where the damper attaches significantly affects the behavior of the whole frame and the damper.Read More
