Title: Abstracts of the 8th International Symposium of Clinical and Applied Anatomy (ISCAA) 1-3 September, 2016, Budapest, Hungary
Abstract: predictor was the combination of the manubrium and sternal body lengths (89.5%).In the stepwise analysis, the best predictors were the manubrium length, sternal body lengths, manubrium width, and corpus sternal width at the first sternebra, with cross-validated accuracy of 90.5%.Crossvalidated accuracy for all measurements ranged between 62.5% and 90.5%.This study is novel in its assessment of sexual dimorphism among Saudis utilizing sternal CT modalities. The findings of the study have important anatomical, anthropological, and forensic applications.
