Title: Effect of polysaccharide sulfate on plasmatic P- selectin in patient with acute cerebral infarction
Abstract: Objective To investigate the effects of polysaccharide sulfate(PSS) on platelet activation in the acute cerebral infarction. Methods Thirty-eight cases with acute cerebral infarction were selected randomly and treated with PSS of 150 mg for intravenous drip, another thirty-eight cases were selected as control group and treated with troxerutin injection of 600 mg for intravenous drip. Both groups were treated fourteen days. All of patients were tested for plasmatic P-selectin. Results There were no obvious difference of changes in plasmatic P- selectin on treatment before (P0.05),but the level of P- selectin in treatment group were obviously decreased compared with control group after the seventh and fourteenth day(P0.05). Furthermore, the level of P- selectin in both group after treatment were significantly decreased compared with before treatment(P0.05 or0.01). Conclusion The PSS has a good therapeutic effect on anticoagulation, anti- platelet aggregation of treating acute cerebral infarction.
