Title: La conspiración turco-comunista: espías, contrabandistas e instructores en el Rif
Abstract: Le varie campagne di guerra in Marocco (1909-1927), ma specialmente quella che fu chiamata la Guerra del Rif (1921-1927) facente parte del periodo bellico appena citato, furono delle ardue ed ingrate missioni che l’esercito spagnolo affrontò all’inizio del XX secolo. Gli ostacoli ed i problemi che si dovettero risolvere per “pacificare” una regione che gli accordi internazionali avevano dato alla Spagna, finirono per pesare sull’intelligenza militare la quale arrivò anche a considerare possibili intromissioni straniere. Spie, informatori ed una rete dedicata allo controspionaggio furono i principali promotori di un’abbondante documentazione generata dall’amministrazione coloniale e dalle sedi diplomatiche spagnole sparse per il mondo. Molti furono i militari che avvisarono della possibile presenza di complotti stranieri nel Protettorato, ma anche del trasporto di forniture militari non autorizzate nella zona e quindi destinate ai ribelli locali.
