Title: Clinical study on the treatment of chronic insomnia induced by liver stagnation and spleen deficiency with Anmian plaster
Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical effects of Anmian plaster on chronic insomnia induced by liver stagnation and spleen deficiency. Methods Eighty cases of chronic insomnia induced by liver stagnation and spleen deficiency that were treated in our hospital from June, 2015 to January, 2016 were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group, each consisting of 40 cases. The patients of the treatment group were treated with Anmian plaster in addition to routine drug treatment, while the patients of the control group were just given routine drug treatment. Then, therapeutic effects were compared between the 2 groups. Results Fol-lowing treatment, PSQI scores, sleep rate and life quality scores of the treatment group were respectively (8.1 ±2.6), (79.2 ± 10.2)%and (62.5 ±5.2), while those of the control group were respectively (9.7 ±2.4), (67.5 ±10.3)% and (51.2 ±4.7). Statistical significance could be seen, when comparisons were made between them(P<0.05).The cure rate(60.0%) and total effec-tive rate (90.0%) of the treatment group were all higher than those(30.0%、77.5%) of the control group, and the recurrent rate (10.0%)of the treatment group was lower than that(22.5%)of the control group.Statistical significance could also be noted, when comparisons were made between them(P<0.05).Conclusion Routine drug therapy supplemented with Anmian plaster in the treat-ment of chronic insomnia induced by liver stagnation and spleen deficiency could increase clinical efficacy, decrease rate of recurrence and further improve the sleep quality and life quality of the patients.
