Title: Experimental research of correlativity of friction coefficient to vertical pressure and friction velocity in new material FPB
Abstract: In order to study correlativity of friction coefficient to vertical pressure and friction velocity, there have a new type of polymer material is used as the wear resistant layer, measure of the reaction force of the support by a horizontal hysteresis test. Through calculation and analysis the friction coefficients of the friction head and the wear plate under different vertical pressures and different slip velocities. The results showed that, friction coefficient only change with the support of the force and sliding speed in friction steady. The greater positive pressure given by the testing machine, the greater slope of the reaction force-displacement hysteresis curve. The hysteretic curves of the hysteresis loop area is greater, but the friction coefficient is small, the results of previous similar test. The friction coefficient is decreased with the increase of the sliding velocity, which is different from the past, the characteristics of data of friction pendulum wear-resistant materials, detection and evaluation method of friction pendulum bearing performance, as well as the isolation efficiency calculation is a great supplement, has a significant impact on the isolation of friction pendulum bearing.
