Title: Функция управления знаниями как система аккумулирования интеллектуального капитала
Abstract: The article discloses the social role of knowledge in the economy of the modern enterprise. Knowledge serves as means of making a profit, and itself becomes a marketable product. In this context, knowledge management function is aimed at the accumulation and subsequent use of intellectual capital as a result of the high level of education and competence of employees of the enterprise, research and development activities, creative activities and lessons learned. The study identified and described the stages of formation of intellectual capital as a result of the formation of domain knowledge information requirements, to gain experience, the formation of the information field of knowledge storage, distribution (extraction) knowledge of corporate memory, the use of intellectual capital, for practical purposes, the creation of new knowledge in the course of professional activities, the implementation of new information products. Key findings of the research are opening function of knowledge management at every stage of accumulation of intellectual capital of the enterprise, where the main emphasis is on the role of the personnel and their level of education and competence, as well as the creation and implementation of expert systems.
