Title: Modeling of agile manufacturing information system
Abstract: As the strategy of manufacturing enterprises in the 21st century, agile manufacturing is a new type manufacturing mode adaptable to manufacturing globalization. According to the characteristics of agile manufacturing and coalition enterprise, and the viewpoint of information integration in advanced manufacturing systems, this paper establishes an AMIS model of agile manufacturing information systems focused on process modeling and describes the five sub-models of AMIS, i.e., resource, organization, process, information and function sub-model. As a distributed, heterogeneous, and loosely coupled information system, agile manufacturing information system can be considered as a multi-agent system (MAS) featured with autonomous, distributive and cooperative properties. By employing the multi-agent design principle and the goal-driven modeling method, this paper presents a process model of AMIS and describes four basic agents of AMIS. The reconstruction process of AMIS can proceed from three aspects, i.e., process reconstruction, function reconstruction and resource reconstruction, and this paper gives the whole process of AMIS reconstruction accordingly.
