Title: Analysis of biogas production through anaerobics digestion using cow dung and various co-substrates
Abstract: Bio de grad able waste is a sus tain able en ergy re source. In com ing years biogas tech nol ogy can be very use ful world wide, since biogas can be ob tained from bio degrad able waste ma te rial. This tech nol ogy is based on waste re duc tion and also is help ful in the clean-up pro cess of In dia.In this ex per i ment, we have made single-phase biogas set-ups by us ing two-li ter bot tles. The fer men ta tion time of the anaer o bic di ges tion for the ef fi cient use of gas as a fuel is about six teen days.In our biogas digester set-ups for waste decomposion an aer o bic co-di ges tion pro cess is uti lized. The pri mary feed stock is cow dung, whereas the grass, fruit, and veg e ta ble waste are used as co-subtracts.The pH value was main tained at the range level of 6.5 to 6.9.The out put biogas yield was 1.59 ml, 1.28 ml, 1.03 ml, and 0.95 ml, within an ap prox i mate pe riod of six teen days.Biogas ob tained from cow dung and grass waste is al most iden ti cal as biogas ob tained from the ex per i men tal set-up 1 (pure cow dung).Main per for mance char ac ter is tics of biogas for ma tion were pre sented in this pa per.In or der to an a lyze a daily biogas for ma tion, the pH value, tem per ature, and hy drau lic re ten tion time were changed in this ex per i ment.
