Title: Fodder yield and quality of sweet sorghum genotypes as influenced by N and P levels
Abstract: A field experiment was carried out to screen out the high yielding and nutritious fodder sorghum varieties and their N and P requirements under rainfed condition The study indicated the superiority of SSV series of sweet sorghum genotypes over DFJ-1 for fodder purpose. In addition to high yielding ability, these sweet sorghum genotypes were found to contain high brix, more protein and low crude fibre making them more palatable to animals.
